ABOUT ME
I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council and with specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), accredited by the BABCP.
I have 12 years of experience working within the NHS across mental health and physical health services with adults, children, young people and their families.
In my NHS practice, I work at Great Ormond Street Hospital as a Senior Clinical Psychologist. I provide psychological therapy for children, young people and their families who are adapting to a health condition. I also provide support and consultation to their medical teams.
I can provide a range of psychological interventions for:

Anxiety & Worry: Panic Attacks, Health Anxiety, Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Generalised Anxiety.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Royal Holloway University.
I have a special interest in recent developing therapies such as Acceptance (ACT) and Mindfulness-based interventions as well as other creative ways of talking, some of which I have published about.
I have worked as a tutor and lecturer and still continue to do some guest lecturing, as I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with others.
To use the protected title 'Clinical Psychologist' I am legally required to be registered with the HCPC . I practice under the guidance of the HCPC's Standards of Conduct, Performance & Ethics as well as adhering to the BABCP Standards of Conduct, Performance & Ethics (2017). These standards include respecting confidentiality, maintaining high standards of professional competence, responsibility and integrity. I have a full and current Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) certificate, demonstrating my suitability to work with vulnerable clients and have professional indemnity arrangement in place.
